GHEL has partnered with ASA to promote low-cost housing solutions across Bangladesh and started its Low Cost Housing Project in 2012. As a social impact enterprise, GHEL is committed to enhancing the living conditions of marginalized populations by supporting improvements in health, education, employment, and income levels.
From its manufacturing facility in Bogura, GHEL produces five different models of hollow, cavity, and solid concrete blocks, supplying them to construction firms nationwide. These blocks—made from cement, sand, stone chips, and stone powder—enable eco-friendly, durable, and weather-resistant housing construction.
The GHEL Housing Program adds value to the rural housing sector through innovative technology. Its affordable and sustainable building solutions have generated positive economic, environmental, and social impacts in rural and semi-urban communities.
