GHEL has entered into a strategic partnership with Southeast University through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 15th January 2025. This MoU aims to foster collaborative research, promote long-term university-industry partnerships, enhance innovative capacities, and advance market-driven research initiatives. It also seeks to create industrial environments conducive to applied research.
This collaboration falls under the Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation (HEAT) Project. The MoU will be submitted to the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh as part of the proposal for accessing grants from the Academic Transformation Fund (ATF) component of HEAT.
The primary objective of this MoU is to outline the terms of joint research activities, expected deliverables and timelines, responsibilities and obligations of both parties, and a framework for benefit and cost sharing.
